When stewie’s shots haven’t been falling she has found productive ways to impact and affect the game. She’s always been able to do it all but now she’s taken full advantage of it and it’s helped grow her game even more. even though people wanna discredit her. and disrespect her. 2X WNBA MVP. 2X finals mvp. 2x champion. 2x commissioner champ and that’s not even knocking the surface of her insane resume (she’s not even 30 yet) She’s not the undeserving scrub you want her to be. Well said. I don't know how many people realize this, but Breanna has shot 22-79 (28%) from the field in the first 4 games of the playoffs and has still found other ways to make a meaningful impact on the game ... setting up her teammates, playing great defense, rebounding, etc. That's what great players do - focus on other areas of their game when their shot isn't falling. And the Liberty are still in good shape ... that's how good this team also is. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

The other three are Basketball Hall of Fame players (Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson, and Isaiah Thomas). We already know that WNBA games are 8 minutes shorter than NBA games. Imagine how astonishing that feat is to be among these "ELITE" players! At this point in the season, is the media still saying that Caitlin Clark is NOT even in the DISCUSSION for MVP 2024??? If not, how many more records does Caitlin Clark need to break??? What exactly IS the metric for deciding MVP??? You can't really make the argument that their team has to WIN the WNBA Finals Championship either because there is historic precedence otherwise.

This prize was insanely stolen. So it means that I and other A'ja Wilson fans must accept that a player who made her team stay in 1st, improve last season's numbers, that her team broke the league's record for victories, that equaled the record for highest score in a game of the season 53pts and which so far is undefeated in the playoffs. She shouldn't receive the MVP award and just because the girl who won played 3 40pts games, is it serious?? Is this really serious????? So Aja Wilson shot 55.7% from the field while Breanna shot 46.5% from the field, nearly 10% better and they both had similar offensive numbers. Aja played on the better team(historic team) and was better defensively. Whoever voted are probably the same ones that call Taurasi the goat. Normally when a player on the best team have similar numbers, they always win, in this case Aja was much more efficient and was obviously the best defensive player but once again they change the rules and move the goalpost for certain players. Hellenes are something else, just evil and hate to the core

I can’t with yall comparing field goals percentages without taking into account that Stewie takes a considerable amount of shots from three in comparison to A’ja. Of course A’ja FG% is going to be higher she doesn’t shoot threes. Compare their percentages when A’ja takes 25 or more threes during a season. Then return to the chat.

That’s not true. I didn’t say Stewie deserved MVP because she can shoot threes… For clarification I said if you are gonna use field goal percentage being the reason A’ja should of won over Stewie, an argument can be made that her field goal percentage wouldn’t be as high if she had a consistent three point shot. You can’t compare field goal percentages unless both players are taking the same amount of threes. If Stewie only scored in the post her FG% could be as high as A’ja’s…three point baskets are worth three points for a reason. Because of the level of difficulty of the shot. As far as Aces without CP they won last year without CP. the RW absence is valid though. Last year when people said Stewie should have won MVP because Jewell Loyd didn’t have her best year statistically Stewie shouldered the load for Seattle as opposed to the ACES who had three players in the MVP discussion last year. And I believe Gray and Plum got votes. So now this season people are saying that Stewie shouldn’t have won it for the same reason they said A’ja should have won it last year. One minute it’s A’ja deserves MVP because she doesn’t play on a super team, then in the same breath people say she should have won because she’s on the best team… Which one is it?
