You two, just love you both so much. Terri, everything you mentioned here is so spot on. The pca was helpful the first 12 hours. The catheder is also my least favorite part of the hospital stay. In fact I almost removed my own cathater if they didn't do it on the second day. I can't say I'm proud of that moment 🤣😅. And I probably asked for solid food each time the RN came into my room.

I was curious why the limited amount of fluids where given post op. I was kept npo for 48 + hours. I ended up going back into the o.r. in the middle.of the night (about 8 hours out of surgery) there was concern about vascular occlusion in the right breast. Turns out I developed a right subpectoral hematoma l, likely as a result of previous sub pectoral implant based reconstruction. Dr. Inchauste (my surgeon at UW) was able to perform a hematoma evacuation and e where all relieved that I didn't have a flap failure. Point is - I am glad I was npo
