I had bilateral mastectomy on October 25th of 2022. I had tissue expanders at the time of surgery. I want your opinion. I also respect my plastic surgeon’s opinion. I want the safest implant that will be comfortable to me. I developed an infection in both breasts caused by the expanders and had to have them removed about a month after the initial surgery. I’m taking a break and letting my chest heal. Hopefully I can start reconstruction in the spring. After the mastectomy I am still larger on the left than the right. I assumed I would be equally flat on both sides. I have scoliosis that causes my chest to come forward on the left and be more recessed on the right. This gets complicated. Thanks for addressing using different size implants! I was just about to ask about that! At the time of surgery my left breast hung 2” longer than the right! I certainly want to be more symmetrical. How do I go about getting the best result for someone with my special needs?? I am sorry this is so long! I will be seeing my plastic surgeon in a couple of weeks and need to know the right questions to ask. I truly appreciate any guidance you can give me. Thank you in advance.

Is there a sientific Paper about acal conected with textured implants? I read that smooth implants on the other hand have a higher risk of capsular contracture and that this risk is much higher compared to how often it accurs vs acal cancer. I would love some independent Research Papers on that topics

I just turn 61 had weight loss surgery in 2017 ready for breast lift and skin removal. I have a slow heart beat and small brain aneurysm I'm not taking meds. Is this a risk. Thinks

That would have to be evaluated carefully by radiology and a neurosurgeon. They can tell if the aneurysm ia a real issue or just something we need to be aware of.
