M so glad that I found you! I’m a stylist myself experiencing the same struggle with my 40I breast. I have a follow up appointment with surgeon in January and I’m hoping to get the surgery in May or June of 2018. I can’t wait to hear more about your journey and I’d love to hear how it is being back at work.

Umm Jahlil definitely! It’s been soooooo much better being back to work. The stress on my neck is completely gone. Blow drying shampooing isnt a painful task anymore

I get mine 6/26/18 I'm excited and ready. I'm not nervous probably becuz I have had other surgeries for ailments I had. One thing I've learned is if you do what the doctor tells you to.. It should go smoothly. Glad that you are happy with you decision. God bless

Meana Sturdivant oh absolutely! I thought it was definitely necessary because I just didn’t want another woman to enter into the process and not know what could come just because no one talked about. Definitely take some time to process this. Journal, pray, whatever you need but take your time to be around people that will be there for you.
