Amazing as always. I have worked with you for over 2 years now, and I still hear something new...even though I know you have told me these things before. What did I hear differently today? I need to use the normal tracheal space during inhalation. I see my old program of wanting to over open and spread the throat when I inhale, which is wrong because it's an action and we just want the reaction. Yes?! Watching you do this on the recording is helping me understand the new program I need and desire. No flexing! Also that gesture you do during inhalation with your fist, where you elbow goes down-helped me to really feel that vertical space. Of course, being a fellow Dane, I love that you share about Lauritz Melchior! "In fernem land..." Thank you for continuing to make these. You are leaving a legacy to the world of singers who are thanking you now and will be thanking you for years to come!!! The freedom I'm already achieving and what is happening with my voice is wonderful!!!...I'm so thrilled and deeply grateful.

This is huge! I do a lot of recording, and the technique of stopping the breath is crucial to a polished professional result. It eliminates popping plosives, of course, but it also completely kills sibilance. The voice tends to come out naturally compressed; little if any processing needed. Words sound more natural, and the flow of words sound more unified. Michael, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience, always easy to follow, and always entertaining! I’m learning so much from your videos, while my singing is getting so much better and more efficient as a result.

Hola maestro, good day for you! I've been reading Douglas Stanley's book "your voice". Some people say his teaching has been and is (through his books) very rude. Maybe because he talks about certain tension in the base of the tongue and its position, holding the hyoid bone etc. Do you have any criticism or opinion about his work and specifically about what he considered proper about the tongue (with the tension in the base) and throat? Thank you very much for sharing so much knowledge with us. Thanks from the bottom of the heart.

Actually the deeper you inhale, the stronger you exhale the voice on the top notes Depending on the voice type, a lyric voice will need a stronger exhale for the top notes, a spinto or dramatic voice will need stronger exhalation for both middle and high register

Hello Mr.Trimble!

Mr.Trimble so happy to see you!! I have one question. In one of your videos you mentioned that you can sing too chesty. However, is it possible to sing Heady? Thank you so much!!

Professor, do you teach online classes? I'm looking for a microphone to take my lessons on Skype, but I am lost among the models and kinds of condenser mics. Could you suggest me a good model, please? I live in Brasil, and love your videos. They help me a lot and make me think about voice and music. Thanks a lot for to be in our lives! Danielle - Brasil

Hey Mr Trimble, was wondering if you charge for a lesson over skype?

My whole teaching has become teaching on Skype since the Pandemic struck. i can't have singers coming to my house until the Pandemic is over. Meanwhile, I teach in 32 couintries and singers pay for their lessons on PayPal. if you want more info, write to tvi@biwifi.com and they will send you info. M
