The crystal birdpoint is actually a true arrowhead that is known as "Gem Quality". Yours looks to be an Early Stemmed Lancelot from Early Archaic period 9000-7000 years before present.

That piece your dad found with the nice flaking, is old. Older artifacts can have beautiful flaking. Everyone seemed to be finding great stuff. That drill is old, great find. Keep them coming

We have always called them bird points in Arkansas. They are rare as hens teeth (crystal aside). Glad you brought the family and the kids got to experience the natural state and our history.

That tiny, clear, (bird) arrowhead from a couple weeks ago was so cool Brandon. I never knew they existed until I saw that one. I was cracking up at Miranda, she had dirt all over her face. She was really getting into it . Cool video and awesome adventure and as always thanks for taking us along

Live on Whidbey Island, Puget Sound, WA where mammoth teeth, bones, midden sites, long house sites have been found. We still have block houses where settlers protected themselves from American Indian attacks. The Coast Salish, Micah, Skagit frequented the island as a seasonal fishing, harvesting island. My friend found a mammoth tooth, another found a very rare blade point, and another travels to OR where he salvages obsidian to nap his own spearheads for his enjoyment. Thank you for taking your time with gang to do this video.😊

In the early 1970’s my school did Outdoor Education on Whitney Island. For Navy Seal training I think they followed our groups for experience. Splashes at night were supposed to “ just be seals playing”.

Brandon that one you are calling a banded axe is called a grooved axe. I have been hunting and collecting Native American Artifacts for over 50 years I have over !,000 Points and Knifes and lots of Axes and hundreds of other Artifacts from beads,, Celts, tools, made from bone, antlers shell, cannel coal, teeth and different material. I have 2 war clubs made from a elk antler . The strangest thing I ever found is a lamp made out of a human arm bone .

I know it’s too late now, but I wish you guys had used something like a GPS camera app to get photos of all the artifacts as they were found for archaeology’s sake. That many items in one place likely means a long term home, not just a brief stop, and those can be hard to find. Once the artifact is removed, it loses any possible story that might have gone with it. There could still be remnants of fires and living quarters buried under the dirt. Would be worth getting it mapped with LIDAR if they can.

Plus the camps were really big, everyone seemed bunched up. Was that a pay to dig site? Christners pay to dig in Moody Texas has produced nice artifacts for over 30 years I know of for sure.

Hey brandon, i happened upon a pretty rare bottle that im told there are only a few known. I posted it on a couple of bottle pages and had people offering me up to 200$ for it. I cant find any info on prior sales or auctions. What would be your advice to make sure i dont get low-balled for it? I only come to you because i need an unbiased party, everyone else i talk to about the bottle wants to buy it!

@@christianbritschge263 Best thing to do is run it on EBay auction style. Tell the interested parties where it’s listed and let them battle it out with bids.

I always wonder if the "arrow heads" were "recycled " through the years? If natives from different generations found them and reused them.

Y'all are digging too shallow, Paleo points are usually about 7-10 feet down but a nice Clovis point could go $10,000. Generally figure them at $1000 per inch of length.

I love your channel and getting to see all of the different stuff you guys dig up; however, given the fact that there is very little to no history documented of Native North American civilization and culture, don't you guys think that actual archaeologists should be excavating these sites so that these artifacts can actually be documented and studied by experts? Like so much of what was the indigenous peoples of this continent is already lost to time, and you guys are just improperly excavating the rest to either sit on a shelf for you and your friends to look at, or to just outright sell for a profit. It just doesn't seem right to me, and I hope that the more of this you all find, the more you will try and work with archaeologists and anthropologists local to the area to try and document these sites more rigorously before ALL of the history of these native peoples is lost.
