Some people open there mouth and it is magical, Lalah Hathaway is one of those people. Forever UNSUNG, in her R&B Music lives - alive, vibrant & relevant. She is not only a continuation of her father, but her own unique star blazing a path across the musical landscape....I am glad she did not get caught up in demons and let the world be robbed once again of the Hathaway musical magic....often in the world of music the children fall short on talent (or there talent is different from the star parent), or in fulfillment of the promise of musical pedigree, but I have to say (and I think everyone would agree) Lalah has definitely overcome any jinx and established her own legacy!

Of course he didn't just direct the orchestra - he also arranged the piece. It's the wonderful Vince Mendoza. Check out his incredible arrangements on Joni Mitchell's Travelogue album. Woodstock for example. The man is a genius. Vince Mendoza with Lalah Hathaway could only ever be fantastic.
