Hate to be that guy. lol But you are constantly touching the air. It literally keeps you breathing. I'm not just talking about inhaling it, but the force it has on your body, pushing it back out your body, (i.e the weight of the atmosphere), on your body. If you pumped all the air out a steel oil drum, the weight of the atmosphere would implode it. It's not physical in the way you understand physical. But it's still a physical interaction you are having with it.
