When I was young my brother taught at a private school in craftsbury common. I used to come up to visit. I loved it there. He and his wife used to ski out the back door and down the hills. So picture perfect. Of course the winters are very long.

I would love to own a property like that. It is beautiful. However, my first thought was, "How do I get to the garage in the winter snow that I am sure is very high?" To me, land is worth its weight in gold. To own it is a dream I seriously doubt I will achieve, but still hope for it. :)

As Aussie were renowned for sharks, (never seen one), spiders ( only a few in 52 years), snakes seen 2 one was flat on the round. All I can think of is BEARS!!!!! THE HOUSE IS GORGEOUS and cheap, same as a 2 bed unit in Sydney , guessing that second door is for escaping BEARS!!!!

Haha, Like your sharks, spiders and snakes, we are lucky to see a bear around here. We do see more of them than we did 10-15 years ago but it is still pretty infrequent. I will take the bears over a bunch of poisonous snakes and spiders! Thank you for watching the video.

@@Century21FarmForest well it's beautiful have best friend with a farm in Wisconsin which is very pretty and ive travelled to upstate New York then Arizona and California really sorry not to see Idaho and Vermont, the porch is the size of a small house.The house is beautiful rimmed by hydrangea.

The only 2 nice spaces are the porch and the great room, the kitchen is tight I cook a lot and bake looking to see if an 8 burner gas stove could fit with a subzero refrigerator, land wise is good, looking to see if any of the existing spaces could be refigured? The hydrangeas were beautiful!

That's a gorgeous property, but I guess I don't really know real estate in Vermont, because for a house THAT old, that's a pretty hefty price tag. I GET the sixteen acres and all, but I think it's a bit much for what it is. Again, maybe I'm wrong and it's the "going rate" in that area. It is stunningly beautiful for a very old home though.

It’s a bargain. A nothing two flat that was refurbished in a Chicago suburb sold for $500,000. It sits on a meager lot. Not even half an acre. Just crazy.

Delightful property however I feel that it’s overpriced and the potential for the land 9:46 has not been explored to the full. It’s exactly what I’m looking for but it’s virtually double the prices I’m seeing for similar sized properties.

Chances are someone from NY or mass bought it for around 150-300k and renovated it now thinking its worth millions. Better off buying land nearby and custom building for far cheaper

That home is really the equivalent of 2 houses turned into one huge one -so that price is partly becuse of the sheer size of the place. It is pretty gorgeous in every way, but still a high price IMO. A lot of course depends on where that place actually is, because you know 'desirability' for the location is a big consideration !
