I really enjoyed that and binge watched the lot. I loved the latter half from Pontypridd to Cardiff especially, as I cycled it myself yesterday. Thank you for such a great set of videos.

Hey, Rich you're one of the few that have said Merthyr is beautiful. I'm sure it has it's nice parts. Loved this mate - watched in full in two parts. Yeah, no better feeling - freedom and rhythm on the bike. Ha, apart from Welsh signs eh? They took you all over as did the road works. Well, good to see you in Cardiff. Excellent adventure. Mark

It's a new by pass they been building it for about 2 years. I'm going to do this ride and video it next weekend, newport to Brecon via the canal, then back to cardiff via taff trail.

Yes if you start at Cardiff you have a 55 mile slog up hill to Brecon. 'Welcome to Wales'.

28 minutes in and your on the first ever train line, first run in 1804, not sure when you made the journey down to Cardiff I’m guessing last year but a look of the taff train in Merthyr has had new bike passing gate to make it easier to navigate , also the tunnel at 25-26 minutes in has been changed to a ramp from top to bottom nice and easy to cycle down Great video mate

Thank you for the great information. Always good to know some of the history. A very enjoyable bike ride down into Cardiff. I think my favourite part with all the history is on the way. I did this last Year. All best Richard
