Trainer Bill Mott talks about defending Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile winner Cody's Wish, who throughout two racing seasons has been one of horse racing's most inspiring story. Owner-breeder Godolphin named Cody's Wish after Cody Dorman, the teenager who has endured rare genetic disorder Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome that has forced him to undergo dozens of surgeries. The two Codys met as part of Keeneland's Make-A-wish Foundation when Cody's Wish was a foal. After finishing third in his first three career starts, Cody's Wish has gone on to win 10 of 15 starts, earning $2.5 million.
