One undoubtedly thinks that slavery would have ended, but it's not the truth. Legal loopholes were being used to keep the harrowing institution alive. You see, the government of the United States banned the slave trade, not slavery itself. This allowed white slave owners to find ways to reproduce the existing black slaves in the United States. Without the means to import more slaves from Africa, slave owners decided to start slave breeding on a commercial scale by establishing slave breeding farms. But the mating and breeding done there was not how you might think. In the cotton plantations, rows of cabins and wooden huts were used as breeding farms. These secluded areas were where black women slaves were systematically exploited for the purpose of bearing children.

That was even worse, wasn’t it? There’s a good book about that called “The Prophets”, it’s a novel.

The voluntary mistresses of the Louisiana plantations were much better off. Especially the daughters of the French merchants, the quadroons and octoroons had arranged situations. The daughters were married off to men that would protect and provide for them, but the sons would often be denied. Was this the precursor to colourism of today? Still, this was a bad situation. And this still exists in Arab countries, there are still slavery especially if women are captured by jihadists. There was a recent case of the Israeli Army going into Lebanon, and rescuing a Yadazie woman who had been enslaved for 11 years, she was returned to her family in Iraq. These slime balls actually believe if they capture a woman during war that she is a slave , she is a spoil of war, like in the times of Mohammed. And there are theories that this is one of the reasons that many men descendent from slaves in America turned to homosexuality, because they hated the thought of impregnating and making the women suffer. if you read the book The Prophets, it tells a story of the two main characters, Samuel and Isaiah, two slaves. one of the sub plots is about the breeding farm situation.
