So many decades of knowledge in one stream is a seldom. Glued to my screen listening with full attention. This is the real deal.

All this talk about stressing your plants and that affecting genes and seeds, which can then be sold to unassuming people for profits, really makes it obvious for me just how important it is to support breeders who are putting love and true intentions into their work with this amazing plant.

Set some background info before I get started. Been growing the same strain, clone from a clone, from a clone from a clone etc etc for about 15+ years now, never had any majot issues, certainly not any seed or hermie issues. Well a while ago I poped some other seed to try get something new, turns out the plant liked to give you lots of "nanners" like not fully developed seeds sorta thing. So I was killing it off by flowering the mum in a room while I had lots of my regular strain in the room. Now im not sure if it was the plant popping the nanners, or the fact I might have let that crop run an extra week or 2 into flower, but long story short, I ended up with a few seeds in my regular strains bud, like 40 if im lucky out of only a few select buds. These seeds looked fully formed and looked good to germ and plant, I have did 3 as tests and so far they have all been female and very similar to the original strain, if anything the plant looks alot stronger as its a seed not a cutting. Never been able to figure out what exactly happened, but im glad as it gave me what appeasr to be fem seeds that are very good copies of the strain, so I can keep them as backups lol.

I amalifelong breeder from outin the stix in Florida, I have always labeled my personal seeds and pollen that I save as "stressed" and the type of stress. My experience is that it definitely makes a difference. Unstressed are for making order out of chaos, stressed are for making chaos out of order. Both are extremely important to my breeding program. I disagree that anything has been lost in the cannabis genome and my view is that the homogeneity I modern cannabis is definitely a product of informationsharing and the fact that everyone is now striving to growing unstressed plants in amazing conditions. YALL NEED TO START RESEARCHING TGE HISTORY OF STRAWBERRIES. IN THAT LIES THE KEY TO TAPPING INTOTHE GENOME. YALL ARE SOOOOOO CLOSE. YOU HAVE TALKED ABOUT EVERY SINGLE ASPECT AROUND THE BULLSEYE AND STILL MISSED THE KEYSTONE!

One of the reasons you get a better plant in those shaded areas is that is a more biodiverse area and the cannabis plants benefit from those other larger established plants/trees similar to the idea of creating a permaculture system. If you introduce more biodiversity in the same area of the plants you will also begin to see a broader terpene presentation as well as increases to growth.

I love how there’s a direct correlation between humans and plants. You know now they’re saying all that inherited trauma and it’s just one in the same as stress in the plant.

It would be great if you could breed for specific cannabinoids besides CBD/CBG/THC, like THC-P, HHC-P and others that are more potent than THC or have different effects. If you ever smoked full agonists over a long time, you can never really get full satisfaction with THC when you know what other realms of effects there are and how high you can really get.

that is why I am looking at the older cultivars that were developed by a practical process and not necessary scientism as the kids are so into nowadays...

ive heard and witnessed 1st hand by homegrowin trainwreck arcata cut fem that it makes a few bananas with fem pollen very late in flower and the offsprings ive grown out has not hermied. most say all plants that shows nanners grows weaker than geneticly possible but when it comes to the exact trainwreck arcata cut by adam dunn or th-seeds seems to ripen very well n potent without stoppin its ripening and concentrating on embryos etc .. ? any one want to share any input on this ?

off course thats by collecting the pollen i found and thrown it on next cycle tw and some other homechuckin projects like tw x (alaskan thunderfuck x sensi star) and tw x white russian. but ive never grown any of em to 7th gen or anywhere near that far.
