Be careful and make sure that your wound is healing properly ! Also a good idea to get some blood tests done again to make sure everything is in "balance" !

Baby goats are way cuter than lambs. Lookit those little faces! Then they bounce, bounce, bounce. Yep, way cuter! Blessings from NE Missouri!

I can’t believe it’s been 12 months since you built those goat pens, I’m still trying to get my hubby to let me have some goats 😩. Glad your healing well, thanks for the dose of cuteness Todd 🐐

Of all the things I've seen the goat milk used for, the ice cream appeals to me the most. That just sounds like a good idea with the higher fat content than cow's milk.

Enjoyed your video brother. I'm almost 70 yrs. old. What I've observed is, people like to gravitate toward positive, genuinely enthusiastic, happy and willing to share productive, wise perspectives. Appreciate your conscientiousness and attention to detail. Colossians 3:23 KJV - And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; . ....... the Jesus in us attracts those interested in finding HIM. ☝💪🙏👉

First I wanna say PRAISE GOD you’re doing so well!!! So glad to see that. God is truly good. Second...while I LOVE Doug and Stacy, I gotta agree, baby goats are hard to beat! Especially the teeny dwarfs. Sooooo “dorabs!” I so wish I could have goats. Maybe someday soon. I’m hopeful anyway. TFS God Bless ~Lisa

When I first saw the milking machine, I thought it was ridiculous. But using it would keep hair and other nasty things out of the milk so it really has great benefits. Now, if I only lived on a farm instead of the city!

Fresh milked goat milk is hard to tell the difference with cow milk but as it ages a couple days it can take on a goaty flavor.

I raise Nubians so I get a lot more milk, but you might try making Cajeta, goat milk caramel sauce. Easy to make and delicious. Rick Bayless has the best recipe online.

Planting peas and beans,spinach in the ground tommorow if the rain holds off? When possible those panels are the way to go mine are over 10 years old if they bend they can be heated up and bent back, weld them if they break! That woven wire is not good! Cattle destroy woven wire as well as horses and hogs!

We had 7 kids born from 3 does ... Ours are Nubian/Toggenburg Does crossed with a Kiko Buck. Looking for milk as my wife has a goat milk soap business and also Red Boar bred to the Kiko for big body meat goats. I lost a set of twins this year and the doe also had retained placenta. Researching this I found that the problem could be mineral deficiency. I should be feeding free choice loose minerals. I am feeding them now and after 3 weeks I notice that their coats are getting shiny and they are picking up weight and filling out. Check out "The Goat Spot" online. Some very knowledgeable people who are willing to help ... God Bless from South of You.
@SSLFamilyDad5 жыл бұрын
that is great advice. You are right about the minerals, we mix some in with their feed often or use a free choice mineral block for them

Man, English is not my first language and you are really confusing me on the correct use of good and well. 😵 "It's been working really GOOD" or "it's been working really WELL" "they've been doing pretty GOOD or WELL" 🤔
@HerHealthyHome5 жыл бұрын
Both are correct, they've been doing well or they've been doing good.
@HerHealthyHome5 жыл бұрын
It's been working pretty well.
@Spencersofduffield5 жыл бұрын
English is my first language and I use them well interchangeably. Maybe you'd be frowned on in a good formal setting, but most people should be able to understand you good without issue. Hope that was well and helpful.

No thank you lol. Nubians for milk. No goats otherwise sorry. Nope lambs rule, besides the shepherd says we are his lambs. Goats belong to the other guy. Time for a sermon on sheep vs goats lol
