Hi Paul, bit of trivia. The plant is originally called Süßwassertang with that weird letter being a German S sound but then incorrectly became a B in English. It's actually a double s. Süß means sweet, wasser means water and tang means kelp. Together, Süßwasser is German for fresh water. So it translates to fresh water kelp.

any tips for breeding boraras brigittae (chili rasboras) it seems most people have trouble. thanks Paul

I’ve never bred the chilli’s sorry. But it would just be a simple as finding out what time of year they spawn in the wild and working out the conditions to trigger them. If I ever do get some I’ll give it a go but I’ve got a heap of other Tetras and rasbora / danios I need to spawn first but limited time and tank space unfortunately. 👻
