Good video!! I watched last night and went to the loft at 10:30 pm. And Again this morning. My 2nd round started hatching yesterday. 6 new babys yesterday so far so good.

New babies are the biggest scare w h this cold. But will show the parents worth. If they can’t keep them alive they can’t stay in my loft.

I completely agree. Pigeons are only as strong as their handlers. They need our help from the beginning until they cross the finish line. Only humans can ruin a perfectly good pigeons, well the hawk does a pretty good job at it is well.

So cold by me even heated water bowls froze. In my breeding section I cover the ceiling and walls with roofing tar paper and now its 20 degrees warmer in there. $15 for 200 feet cheap way to warm it up. Plus it'll work good for darkening the young bird loft

@@AdrianP_loft I did no u don't keep time wasters I just wasn't sure if u were going to race them, maybe it's me but I didn't really see that many white birds b4 in ur loft, don't get me wrong Iv seen ur birds winning some GREAT RACE's, plus U really sent MARK OF RED STAR LOFT's some fantastic bird's that made his first race season one HE'll NEVER 4get, it's very rare that some1 could win so much in there first year, but hats of to U& Mark, it's just a pity we might not see them birds again, thanks for ur reply, Adrian.p, best of luck this year I'll b watching,

Yea it’s very hard to get good whites or blacks for that matter. To much time is spent breeding for color and not performance. The whites in my loft were given to me to test. They are not my own birds. If we get one good one out of the bunch it’s worth the try but it will be a challenge .
@markryan57164 жыл бұрын
@@AdrianP_loft ud no better than any1 it's not the color that wins the race it's the BREEDING&PEDAGREE would u say, don't mind me asking and I don't like asking about other people but we're all the stock RED STAR was breeding from were they all ur birds, I really hope something good comes from the whites like u said just 1good 1 that's all it takes, but it will b good to see how they get on, there's alot of people actually trying the racing color pigeons even trying BARLESS, but it's what ever ur in2 and what makes u happy,, would u get snow like that every year or is this is a blast of the future!!!???, Adrian.P SORRY for going on to much asking 20questions,

No worries brother I can talk pigeon anytime. Most of marks birds were from me but he did have some of his own too. Good birds can come from anywhere but like i said before if they where bred for color and not performance then your wasting your time. A pedigree is only as good as the guy making it. Too many fanciers buy shitty birds because the pedigree said it’s a son or daughter off a famous bird. Even the best birds in the world breed more bad ones then good ones. When I look at a pedigree I only check for performance I don’t care about names.

Jovati and natural grit mix. And definitely parents neglect. Keep an eye on those parents and if they repeat then get rid of them
