After a lot of research and review of various Fire Pits, we decided to go with the Y Series. We wanted to support Made in The USA and a Central PA business. We liked the build quality and the fact that we can use it on our deck. Well, our first burn was last night, and we have some deck (TimberTech Azek) damage that will now need to be repaired. We used the “Burn” position and now see that the only position that should be used on composite decking is “Cook”. Please be sure you use the “Cook” height, otherwise you will damage your deck (discolored and slightly melted). I was unable to find this detail in any of the reviews before making the purchase. I did check the temperature a time or two with an infrared thermometer during the fire, it was reasonable I thought, maybe 200 degrees. I now also see the Breeo website does state “only use the Cook height on composite decking”. Our fault, we’ll have the deck repaired. Be advised, so you don’t have the same experience. Otherwise, great build quality and it produced a really nice fire.

Hey Breeo - this looks really cool, great innovation! I have a question, my buddies have the “summit” chineesium, it burns almost completely clean ash and all. I’m guessing it’s a “air flow” volume situation of some Sort. I’d say that’s my only knock on my Breeo X series. That “Tri-Fuel” optionality is fantastic on this new Y. L Would love it if yall make a stone pizza oven attachment, and if yall do, make sure the stone is at least 3/4 inch thick. Don't cheap out on the 1/2 thick stone. Thanks
