whats up? I know no one cares, so this is a comment for me. I'm currently struggling hard in my first year of college. I just recently started, and already I'm 5 days behind in my art history class with seemingly no chance of making it up, and crying my way through barely getting math done on time. For the last month I have gone to sleep at 4 am and woken up at 9, spending every moment doing hw or else feeling guilty about the fact that I'm not. I'm very lucky I haven't slipped back into the depressive pit I was trapped in in high school, but I'm having thoughts banning me from eating or sleeping until I'm done with my work, or else thoughts of dropping out even though of course I can't/shouldn't. I know that it's because I'm slow. I'm a slow worker. Even when I'm trying as hard as possible to be as fast as possible, it always takes a couple extra hours to finish. So I'm trying not to let it get to me too much. I have to be fast when I'm slow, of course it's gonna drain me. I don't know, I just needed to vent. The music helps me concentrate, for the most part. So thanks for having it be there. Also, today marks 11 months off my sh addiction, a personal best. So I guess I do have something to feel pretty good about today. Thanks :)

Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late-night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper, or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heating pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
