This sounds like music that would be in an old legend of zelda game!

Oh gosh, you really captured the song's feel into a GBC style... I love it so much! Any plans to do "into the Mist?" Or "mysterious pokemon," no one can decide on what to call it.

Isn't it called Vs Mysterious Pokemon in game (when you do online battles or battle tower and it asks you to choose the music)

One of the best 8-bit covers of Pokemon music I've ever heard, and I've listened to about a hundred :) You captured the feeling of the original perfectly!

Wow. I can already picture it.. me waking up 3 hours before my bus picks me up for school just so I can put in an extra hour of Team training. I miss those days.. as an adult you don't have the luxury of time anymore, but then again who does? Thank you for the nostalgia! :)

Great job! One of my favorite tracks from the game so far, and you've captured the motif so well, down to the note bends on the flutes. Keep on doin what you're doin!

Would've been realistic if it hadn't the echo But good
@StijnTunes5 жыл бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHisapqknLmhlbs Glad you mentioned. It's actually a more complex version of this technique. The echo also cuts out to make room for the octave in the strings. It's a very meticulous process to get the most out of a sound chip. 😊
@Terapagos30005 жыл бұрын
@@StijnTunes That's really interesting, but I was talking about Game Boy and GB Pokémon games' music. It doesn't have echo, furthermore is there any GB game that uses echo or is it known if the GB can do it?
@StijnTunes5 жыл бұрын
@@Terapagos3000 It's definitely possible for Gameboy. It's not any special effect. The echo is put in by hand as extra notes that play softer. It perfectly fills up the empty spaces between the existing notes. Pokemon didn't really use this technique no, but you can find it in other games, like the Zelda games for example.
@Terapagos30005 жыл бұрын
@@StijnTunes Yeah I wasn't sure because I remember Masuda explaining making music on Gameboy as if it was a special and more limited version of 8 bit, but I guess he was talking 'bout his experience. Btw yeah for it being realistic I meant it sticking to the original style, but it can work with them being a faithful transposition
