It's entirely too bad that Zero can be cheesed in this fight if you play as X. But if you're Zero, trying to make it out unscathed against X (who mostly uses attacks from X4) is a true test of skill and nerves. I've only seen one example of someone pulling it off. They were a little kinder to Zero in the X6 version, giving him a difficult spread buster attack as well as an upgraded basic combo that actually homes in somewhat.
