I was a cross stitcher in the 1980's and then moved on to quilting. But within the last month, I have started cross stitching again. Wow, designs have changed! These older items that you brought back from your father-in-law's home reminded me of the projects of days gone by. I'm now working on Jan Hicks' Lace. I found you two lovely ladies and have now binge watched probably 50% of your flosstube videos. Thank you for showing your treasures, for your obvious friendship with each other, and for inspiring me to start stitching again! I'm a bit older so my eyes aren't adjusting to linen yet but I'll continue to try.

Dear B and S.S. I have not crossed a stitch 😏since I finished my first sampler in 1986. WELL! I just happened upon your floss tube a week ago. I’m now needing a 12 step program for fiber crafts. After my grandma passed I went to my dads and saw Givet us this day from Ann Powell hanging in his kitchen. I was like where’d you get that? He said at moms. I said omg I made that years ago. He’s said take it home. I said no you enjoy it for now. I sung that song many a time. I love watching you two. Your show is one of my favorites. My prayers are out for the Ukrainians right now. I think I’ve just about bought everyone of Stitchyprincess. Such difficult days :(. I live in Romania and we are terrified because is so close to us but we are so blessed that we are safe and able to help lots of people that come into our country. Awww…Bailey is precious! Definitely prayers for Ukraine. “There’s a land that is fairer than day. And, by faith we can see it afar…..in the sweet, by and by, we shall meet on that beautiful shore…” it’s an old hymn. When i was a child, my mother just insisted that i learn to play the piano…now i’m in my sixties and i’m still playing at church! So, i have the strangest knowledgebase of music…hymns, gospel, contemporary christian, my late husband was a Skynyrd fan, all the classic rock, one of my sons liked pearl jam, my mother was a huge buck owens fan, i love older musicals…everything reminds me of a song of some sort. So, never fear! No song shall go unidentified! Thanks, you two for showing all the things. I keep a notebook at the ready to make lists!

Ukraine has & will be in my daily prayers! I can't imagine the horror Ukrainians are living thru! Brenda the old Christmas sampler you found is one I stitched MANY, MANY years ago & framed myself for my mom. And I made several of the the beaded ornaments too. If you can find a way to go to market, being a mule for a shop is the best as you get to see EVERYTHING!! But being with a designer is fun too, you get to "sneak out" and play when there is breathing room. I have done both, the first time I had only really known Leisure Art Charts, you can't imagine what it was like, I was a kid in a candy store with all my favorite candy!! And it NEVER gets old, I think I went for 10 years and can't say I ever got board going.

I think the 911 Stitcher said something about how if you are a KZbinr you can go as a type of journalist. And I would say that there is no one better than you two to promote the designers and the stitching community because we all watch you and love you.

Praying for Ukrainians and all of the leaders that is involve with what is going on in Ukraine - that they will come to their senses and stop this War that is going on. This should never ever happen. I feel so sorry for the Ukrainians. Laura - Anytime you mention House Of Stitches you make my day - that is my LNS and I am only a half hour away from House Of Stitches. The Owner - Linda - did not go to Nashville Market Event this time. I don’t know why. Brenda - all of your clocks and other things that you brought back home is just beautiful - wow. Yes it is hard to go through what you and your family went through and it’s not easy. I watch a Old Garage being torn down which was built by the girl’s Dad and her two brothers for the girl’s grandparents so long ago and it has with stood every kind of weather that you can imagine and the people that bought the house about 6 years ago decided to tear down the Garage and there was nothing wrong with the Garage. It broke my heart. It was a very Solid Standing Well Built Garage. Now it’s gone. So Very Sad. I love all of your WIPS - they are so pretty. The Fabric is just gorgeous and so is the Floss Colors. So fun to listen to you both about the new releases. I was overwhelmed by the instagram pictures of Nashville. Just seeing their displays was gorgeous. And I think the books we get are like coffee table books. I remember people having them on their coffee tables about houses, or gardens or traveling. I think the cross stitch books are just like that. An instant piece of happiness!

Thanks for all the wonderful enabling you provide with each video. Last summer I retired, started wading through my craft room and came across some old cross stitch. I started working to finish it. Discovered flosstubes and have fallen very far down a deep, deep hole. The cross stitch I worked on (and still haven't finished-lol) is Hearts Come Home--the Santa sampler you got back from your in-law's home, Brenda. It was in a Better Home and Gardens, Creative Ideas, Cross Stitch Christmas, issue from 1990. I think it was somehow also associated with Cross Stitch & Country Crafts. I have put the project on my WIPGO board, so expect a finish this year. Hope you both have peaceful stitching weeks.

Bailey is just beyond adorable!!! We had a Scottie when I was a child and someday I want to have another! Sambrie Stitches has several lists on her IG account of Etsy shops from the Ukraine, even buying digital downloads are helpful as the shop owner then does not have to worry about shipping. What an absolute treasure, Brenda, to be able to bring those items home with you, and the memories attached. And, I’m all in on going to Market to be a worker bee, just to get in there!!!! A man in the cubical next to me at work is Ukrainian. He speaks fluently the language as it was the only language he spoke when he went to kindergarten in the Cleveland area. I asked him as soon as he got to work what did the Long Dog sampler Freebee say. He told me it says "Glory to Ukraine." Brenda - Mary Snow is so beautiful and Sarah Fletcher is fabulous! I love that basket of flowers! Laura - Ann is so pretty and will be the perfect start to a small sampler wall. I need to go check out what Blackbird released!

My prayers are with the Ukraine and its people. My needlework/ stitching is my therapy for sure! My husband has said that I must be pretty screwed up to need this much therapy! He just laughs, he knows how much comfort and pleasure I derive from it. Bailey is a sweetheart!
