I said to hubby while you are ordering the D.M.C for Memories of the Past...H.A.T.S. I am going to watch Brenda and Laura... He also made chilli and rice for dinner too... Funny you compared Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and Chicago O'Hare airport. Back in 1962 when I was a TWA "Stew" based in Chicago, I worked the "Connie" plane to Phoenix. Sky Harbor was one runway, one gate, and we parked on the tarmac, went down the rolling stairway, across to the one gate. It was always 90 degrees at 10pm too, so we went to the one motel and jumped in their pool. Things were much simpler then. Loved that you enjoyed the Attic Summer school so much. Maybe I will get back there someday.

Since MS has me not able to travel I live vicariously through you girls-what a fabulous video-felt like I was there -well almost - and Brenda I know you are careful about how many places you go to so my heart was FULL as you described your experience and how you two felt so much love in AZ. My husband was there in the spring and went to the Attic and Caroline bagged me up some things and he took pics-that’s the closest that I’ll get but - just your joy makes me joyful! Oh my gosh!! I just watched this video and what a great way to start my first day of retirement!! I'm from Bloomington and was thrilled when I saw the name tag holder and "Illinois" showed!! I'm a beginner cross stitcher and I told the hubby that I'm going to Summer School next year.

This is my favorite flosstube of all time! It was so exciting to hear about your great experience at summer school and I loved seeing your haul and gifts! You both continue to inspire me to try more difficult charts. This summer I started stitching on 40 count linen, and I have to say not only is linen now my favorite fabric, but 40 count, although a bit challenging, is so beautiful. My sister and I FaceTime almost every day and stitch together…often the same chart and we have matching project bags and notions as well. We have a blast together (I live in ND and she lives in LA). September 1st we’re starting Janet Barr Slater together. It’s so beautiful! Can’t wait to see what you both accomplish in two weeks! Thank you for sharing so much with us!
