This song is amazing, Brenda K. Starr is amazing, but this version has way too much bass to it. Now, I'm only 2 years older than Brenda. We are both of the "60s baby generation", the years of "The Beatles", and when they came to the United States to change pop/rock music 🎶. My younger sister is the exact same age as Brenda. For us of Brenda's Generation, cut the bass down a bit. Brenda's Voice is Perfect! I am former Radio Station Owner & Operator, General Manager, and just a Disc Jockey. Played the original version as a Classic Hit. I played the original version by "Rocker Joyce Irby" and Kylmaxx came when it came out, and was a huge hit on Top 40/Pop-Rock Radio. 📻 This is just my opinion only. I have worked in this broadcasting business for 40+ years, but had to retire due to a accident. Anyhow, much Future Success to Brenda and keep Our Generation Alive!✌😉😎
