Listening to music over 50 years and never heard this version. And she she first to record it, second to release it. Grew up listening to Elvis and Willie sing it and Judith hill on the voice. Saw Chris Stapleton’s live version is charting and brought me to KZbin. Way to go Brenda!

Elvis was the best then Willie. This version that's probably good back in the time because the other two has a recorded yet. Normally the first version of usually the best I'm now you get a guy like Elvis Presley I'm now you get a guy like Elvis Presley come in and make it his own and just make you feel the song Brenda Lee I don't feel it.

This is the hands down best version ever of this song ! Don’t believe me, Even Elvis Presley who also recorded this song said his version couldn’t compare to hers whom he said sang it the best and couldn’t be topped ! My 7 year old son in 1998 upon hearing this on Cd , hit repeat and played it all day ! He was born in November but was still 7 when he first heard it that summer !

The Original Singer after Gwen Mcrea , sounds Amazing. Always on My Mind is an American country music song by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson, recorded first by Gwen McCrae (as "You Were Always On My Mind") and Brenda Lee in 1972.

Suga Disco how can composers give it to two different singers at the same time. Didnt other singers have to take permission to sing it??
