Paul...this is an excellent method of displaying the sheet music as you play. It is by far the best method I have seen to date....great work. It is much easier to follow. Thank you.

Hi Capwn. Yes, the 19980s was a great source of balanced, polished, but still adventurous melodies.

Also how long is your stretch? At on point you’re stretching from f to a while playing a couple of notes in the middle as though it was nothing!

Hi eshyman - thanks for your comments. An octave and a third sounds so smooth that I include it occasionally.

Hey paul this is a stunning video. One question, being able to play as wonderfully as you do, does it take classical training? I am currently trying to find a method in playing as well as you do, but I'm at basic level and want to be able to play this song at your level. What is the path to this greatness and how long would you say it will take me?
@paulwwells3 жыл бұрын
You have the desire, which is the most important thing. I don't copy anyone, I just experiment a lot to find what I think sounds best making small changes each time. If I like the result then it is a success. Certainly record your playing regularly - not because you will like the recording, but because you will be irritated by it and want to go back to the piano to play better. I'm happy to help give you some ideas.

Great arrangement! Any possibility you could provide the MIDI file for this?
@paulwwells5 ай бұрын
Hi! I actually have created a device that is an AI Piano Teacher. It teaches in a similar way to learning from a MIDI file. It can teach this song and many others. You can check it out at our website here: plugandplink.com/

Great Job Paul. Glad to hear that you recovered. Is it possible to synchronize your sheet music so people can follow what you playing on the sheet music? Otherwise this is great work. I am still waiting for my request(a classic from the mid 90's)
