I think you’re the most famous, non-designing cross stitcher EVER! Everything you do, say, cross stitch, and the way you decorate your house is purely beautiful and magnificent! Where would we be without you?!? If anything is true about you (other than your passion for the needlearts), it’s your unconditional love for your family. Your house breathes FAMILY!!! Thank you for taking the time to share your home with us, and thank you, Megan for shooting the video!!!

Brenda, first, I must comment on your daughter’s excellent videoing! She did a fantastic job! Gave the viewer enough time to take in the beauty! Secondly, YOU ARE THE WINNER! I am older than you are and have been stitching since about 1989. I thought I stitched a lot! Not even close to what you have done! Your work and your pieces are all incredibly beautiful. Your home oozes love, memories, treasures and warmth! I feel honored that you took us on a video tour! How you accomplish what you have and work, also, makes me think that I don’t measure up! (It’s o.k., I’ll get over it!). I must show my husband this video. He will not believe that there is anyone with more framed stitching pieces displayed on walls than I have! I love your mom’s desk all your spool storage drawers. ( Always wanted one, but never bought one.). After seeing yours, I am sorry that I just neglected to buy a few! I saw so many things that inspired me - I saved a baby dress from each of my daughters, so I’m going to hang them up to remind me of those previous times. The walls in my home are pretty bare - I’ve given almost all of my stitchy projects to my mom, and she displays everything year round like you do. What you do in your home is so beautiful and warm, full of love. With all of the gorgeous samplers you have lovingly created one would think it would be a chaotic cluster to have them all hanging BUT how tastefully you have them all displayed!!!!! Also your daughter did an excellent job behind the camera - very smooth and focusing on what you were describing. I don't even know where or how to begin with the tour of your Happy Place. What a treat! Meghan did a wonderful job filming....no motion sickness here and I’m very sensitive to motion sickness. My takeaway? Stitch what you love and surround yourself with what you love.....get all the stuff out of closets, and boxes, and bins, and put them out! You have a lovely comfortable home and it was very fun to see everything.....and boy, do you have a memory...you knew the designer of every piece, how you stitched it....impressive.
