My fellow Nigerian well done. For me I will love her even in death and in the afterlife. I grew up with her songs. I was in senior secondary school when she died. My only regret now is I didn't get to see her while she was alive. She is my inspiration. Rest on our BRENDA

Sis was from Langa in Cape Town, South Africa.... Langa was not a dwelling place but due to the apartheid government of having anterior motives they decided moving all Blacks from Ndabeni,Simon's town etc. They dumped those Blacks in Langa after building shelters for them (those houses they built were not able to accommodate our big families) but the material which was used was top grade, those houses still remain to this day

Brenda is a legend. I've often listened to her performances and love this song. There was one time many years ago I was dropping my girlfriend at the airport in Nairobi for a flight to Mombasa. Brenda and her band were on the flight. Brenda changed her seat to sit in coach class with the other performers, completely filling coach class. My girlfriend was bumped up to first class because of Brenda. What a kind soul she is. Brenda will forever be in my heart.
