This is one of my favourite annual stories. Percy helping two foreign passengers is an interesting storyline 🙂.

One cold morning, Percy was shunting at the big station. "My funnel's cold! My funnel's cold!" he said as he puffed along. Then he would look at his driver, fireman and guard who were wearing the scarves the two visitors that Percy had helped gave them. Then he would say "I want a scarf! I want a scarf!"
