Dude the whole country is supporting the guy. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him. Even before all the crazy stuff happened. First movie I saw of his was "The Mummy" and I loved it. I was really young at the time and he was one of my first favorite actors. Only bad things I've seen people comment about him is his hair loss or whatever happened there and his weight gain. But people shouldn't care so much about those things.

However,, did you know he has horrible back pain from years of working on action movies so "getting in really good shape" after surgeries like that is a whole different deal. He's had a lot of trauma, he's not 25 anymore and he can take roles that are deeper & more complex instead of eye candy roles. Oh, he looked great in Encino Man, too. Gotta accept we all age.

I REALLY REALLY HOPE that he makes a HUGE resurgence in the industry. He was a massive part of my childhood and I miss the absolute $h!t out of him lol. He’s been my favorite actor since I saw him as a teen in School Ties, I’m so glad that he has been getting work again. Honestly I think it’s better that the film didn’t come out, because box office fails always affect the actors getting those bigger budgeted films. So I don’t want him taking a step forward, only for a bad movie to come out and he has to take two steps back. It wasn’t meant to be, but I will continue to cheer him on with whatever other projects he gets to do in the future. He’s such an awesome dude, so I only wish for the best for him.

Unfortunately that was already the plan. It was made to be an HBOMax film. The new guy who runs WB decided shelving it (and also disappearing lots of other finished and near-finished movies/tv series) could make him quicker money with tax breaks. These smart decisions have tanked WB stock and earned them the reputation that artists can't trust them. (Sorry if this was a rant. I agree with you! Releasing the movie would have absolutely loss the studio a lot less.)
