It has a lot to do with an authenticity he exudes that shows through when he smiles, a certain graciousness and those things make his odd physical attractiveness more alluring. There's a certain square, clean guy thing mixed with brooding facial features that is so weirdly hot. In some movies he's more that way than others, but his personal affect still makes him attractive in those times. I guess the fact that he seems kind of big, lurking thing who could hurt you but never will because he's too concerned with your safety😂 @@haroonkapoor8233

I swear, every time I hear this man speak I am left with tears welling up behind my eyes. He is incredible, articulate, intelligent, fascinating. The way his every word draws you in; leaning forward in anticipation for more... I cannot describe it, he leaves me speechless. It's also so beautiful to see how much he has changed over time, yet stayed as humble and soft-hearted as he was when green. Brendan is the true meaning of a "gentle-man." But again, personality is more important first off, while you should be attracted also, it should be secondary. Hence why I said beauty in and out.

Hi Jonathan, I agree. The film was too unusual for an audience brought up on the pervasive theme - triumph of the the little guy over adversity, winning glory. The little guy here is the smartest guy in the room, and triumphs, but over the institutions and motivations and go getters on which our be a winner without thought of the consequences society is based. He debunks what The American Dream most dreams to be and he is small, weird looking, dirty and hairy, lives on the street, and working class - the opposite of the Ivy League, L.L.Bean, Polo look. Then he dies a slow death (from corporate negligence) into which we are drawn, and don't want to be. So why do the kids come around and love him? Because they're still young enough to be pierced through by how REAL he is and so perhaps be saved from the pervasive miasma that is America's proud achievement.

Despite being a from a completely different culture…The way he approaches acting and storytelling is similar to those of classically trained British actors. Something about his answers remind me of Alan Rickman. Another intelligent and versatile actor. Brendan wasn’t just giving good face. Nor was he just a Hollywood heartthrob. He’s an artist.
