What a beautiful meeting. The world of music, especially classical music, can often be quite cliquey, so it needed a degree of courage on *both* their parts to undertake this collaboration. But the results were beautiful and heart warming. Well done both ! A small note of pedantry. 'Panis angelicus' is not "opera", it's a sacred song. I used to sing in a professional church choir - just four voices, one per line. Sometimes, we didn't have four singers, in which case the anthem was nearly always 'Panis angelicus' because we had an excellent arrangement for 1,2,3 or 4 voices and organ. Well done , Mr Kavanagh. Good luck to Miranda in her future endeavours - classical music in general and singing in particular is a tough, tough way to make a living, but the rewards can be quite wonderful.

"Panis Angelicus" ("bread of angels") A nice religious song for the catholic mass, as part of a complete liturgy of the feast, including prayers for the Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours. has often been set to music separately from the rest of the hymn. Most famously, in 1872 César Franck set this strophe for tenor voice, harp, cello, and organ, and incorporated it into his Messe à trois voix.
