YOU ARE ALL IN. That is what resonated with me. If you're not all in, you are straddling between the hallway' and the open door. If you know this opportunity is for you, then you are wasting time by hesitation. You're not being careful' you are embracing doubt and fears that are paralyzing the power that God gave you to use for Him. Phil 4:13

The more I listen to talks like this. And the more I study my past. I am able to see what took place. That allowed me to be highly successful at whatever I did. We humans are amazing beings. Somewhere between age two and three, I started observing people and their behaviors. What is observation? To observe is to focus with an open mind. All senses are tuning into just one thing. What is happening at that very moment. At age 62, I have learned about what makes us tick. Every morning we wake up to a theme. A life about what, who, thing and place to like and dislike. Likes and dislikes will determine your life. What is it like to be without likes and dislikes? There are no expectations. There are no perceptions. There is no assuming. Change your likes and dislikes and you change the direction your life is heading towards. Let go of your likes and dislikes and you get to choose the life you want to live. It's all about tolerance and patience.

As a professional organizer I work with a lot of people that think they need to "get ready to get ready"! What it comes down to is making decisions about everything in their space. I help them do that. Many times, when we've finished and I check back with them, they tell me that it's so much easier to make decisions now.

The only path to success is through failure. If you’re not able to accept failure, you’ll never be able to experience success. It’s the hardest thing to get a grip on, I don’t know why, fear? uncertainty? ego? all of the above? For me, now that you’ve pointed it out, making decisions is and has been my biggest problem, and Im confidently assuming that is the problem for 90% of humanity, not able or willing to accept defeat as a possible outcome. My response to that is to over analyze everything to the point of paralysis. Analysis Paralysis, the most debilitating, destructive behavior of the human condition. The man or woman who has failed a thousand times in a row is more valuable than those who did nothing.

Sorry to clog up your comment board but this morning, Sunday January 14, 2024, I made an executive decision. A little background, Ive been a football fan my entire life, was a Vikings fan back in the day, Fran Tarkington and the purple people eaters, watched Don Shula’s Dolphins go undefeated, all those teams. Now, I tolerated the anti american national anthem kneel down. Nothing like listening to a guy getting paid 30 million dollars to play football tell me how oppressed he is. And I don’t need the nfl giving me social commentary on anything. Im here to watch football, I don’t give a crap what you think about anything else. I tolerated that. But last night was the last straw. They put a playoff game on pay per view only. Couple that with thursday nights on amazon only. What’s up with that? I’ll tell you what’s up with that, it’s the beginning of the end. The nfl is going the way of boxing. So I made the executive decision, I will no longer watch the nfl, period, done. I watched all year then at playoff time you pull this crap? Screw you. Im outta here. It’s a shame. I love football, but I just can’t do it anymore. That’s total b.s. Taylor Swift’s nfl can fade away into obscurity, I know longer care. Im movin on. Now, even college football, players bouncing from one school to another? Integrity? There is no integrity. It’s all about the money. What am I gonna do on Sunday afternoons? I’m gonna be watching the pga. At least there the player is not gonna get penalized 15 yards for hitting the ball to hard. John Rahm? Dustin Johnson? All you guys wanna play in Dubai? See ya. You showed me who you are, good luck to ya in obscurity. Zero integrity. Still have college hoops. Hope they don’t screw that up. Im not holding my breath there, but I’ll keep watching until they do. I fear for the future of this planet because with everything else going on, just like in sports, Zero integrity. “Show me the money Jerry” It’s all about the money.

I love Ed but he talked for more than 50% of the time.
@valeriejaeger491811 ай бұрын
Ed, you tend to talk out of his points lacking depth. Maybe cause you guys are friends you're highly conversational but this is a pattern with this guy. He started making a point of not over committing and there was no depth to that point because you took it in a whole different direction. Then a point made about two week timing in decision making aside two areas, but you took it in a direction on being decisive. My encouragement is add a little more "tell me more" when something of sustenance is newly brought to the table so it sinks in a bit. Otherwise 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 all over the place and it's difficult to track meaningful nuggets of information 🤔 🤓💡

first time I watch it and I don't agree, taking your time is essential to make good decisions, and yes you can exaggerate that people postpone forever. Decisiveness is overrated. Making decisions is important but taking time is more as data can change from day to day. first time I give up on watching your video Ed

You are probably an analytical person. The issues is that sometimes we hit paralysis analysis trying to get data for sake of getting data, it's a procrastinating tactics of ego to postpone the decision, because who doesn't like change.
