Still 3 years later this probably one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.....the words truly make me cry because it's they are so true.....I remember when I was 21 I used to carry so much hate and rage, from past experiences, bullying when I was a kid ect I learned to box so my first insctict was to lash out and fight everybody, even if they looked at me wrong...I remember one day this random guy walked up to me and was like hey man are you okay, and I remember I was like he fuck off it's none of your business, but the guy didn't let up, he put his hand on my shoulder, and he was like hey man don't punch me or anything, but I see pure pain when I look into your eyes.......man everything will work out for you bro, I see so much potential beyond the pain and anger in you and I belive in you, God believes in you don't give up the fight and let anger consume you......I was in total lost for words but he was so spot on I tried to hold it back to look tough, but I remember crying really bad it just all came out of me, the dude hugged me man, and he was like man it's okay dude. He let go and was like keep your chin up young soldier and he walked off.....even thinking of that story today makes me tear up because like brennen said and it's so damn true..."we must lend a hand to those who feel their at the end, a act of love can really go the distance".....man after that instead of being so angry ready to fight I started greeting people after that, and since then just the reception I get from saying hey man how's it going, or hey how's your day, people truly gravitate towards acts of kindness or just asking them if they are alright......this is such a beautiful song that is so criminally underrated and it sits right in my soul......this is the kinda song that truly needs to be promoted and pushed....thank you brennan savage for this gem, everything you said in this song hits me in the heart, one of my very favorite songs ever of all time ❤💯
