Where the hell did you come from? How has this layout been a secret? The way the backdrop is utilized is probably the best I have ever seen in the hobby. I don't often pile on compliments with layout videos, but I am afraid I can't say enough about this layout. Absolute perfection. I hope we see alot more of this layout in the near future!!

That is a great layout. I can tell you went to great pains to make sure the power and rolling stock were period appropriate for the pre-Family Lines area. And the Allegheny Midland 50’ box is a great shoutout to Tony and Allen. My mid-70s layout does include an Ohio Southern coal hopper, as a nod to the great modelers we read about in MR and RMC!

Wonderful shelf style road. I don't have the space you have but you have given me a lot to think about. I am building a point to point road and hopefully it will be my last. I am 76 and have been in modeling HO for the past 60 years. I had to subscribe to see what more you have.

Outstanding work. Two things set this layout apart from others I've seen. One, the radiused corners both inside and outside eliminate that hard line. And two, the background blends seamlessly with the terrain and visually extends it for a natural look.

@@johnkelley4874 sorry I misread your question. The fascia is a custom color that closely resembles the green used on US&S CTC machines. It’s the same color Tony Koester used on his NKP layout.

I'm sorry but this layout looks really boring, how do you build a Mountain railroad without any elevation grades and think that's something great, it be like making a high-speed rail line with No straight aways only curves, other than that layout looks ok I guess as scenery is very dull understood it takes place in the mountain woods.
