Beautiful video! Incredible skills on those riding two-up! For the rest, I again thought, "Why aren't they standing for greatly improved control? " Then I remembered the best response I've heard for that question, "My dear friend, at my skill level, falling is inevitable. Why on earth would I want to double the distance?" Such a witty retort deserves to remain unanswered 😁

@RozalynVeersma2 жыл бұрын
@@brentbat oh you lucky bugger! 😂🙏 Absolutely loved Flinders & did it twice. Brachina Gorge Road, Bunyeroo Road, Glass Gorge Scenic Road, Chambers Gorge…all fantastic ‘must do’ dirt roads. I found a lot of ‘no access’ roads throughout Flinders but I’m sure you’ll find some off the beaten tracks! 😂👍 Though there were quite a few peeps in Wilpena Pound, I still loved it as I did a stack of walks including the thigh destroying Mount Ohlssen Bagge! 🥵😫😂👍 Willow Springs was a top spot to camp & they had their own trails/tour through their private property which I hear is awesome but I loved free ranging, so didn’t do it. Arkaroola was great food & drinks…quite flash considering…and then Mark & I left from there through Gammon Ranges up through Mount Hopeless to Strzelecki and into Cameron Corner via Merty Merty. Just loved every second of it and hanging to go back again! The most breathtaking spectacular view though was on Bunyeroo Road at the Razorback Lookout. Breathtaking & imprinted in my retinas & heart forever. I can’t wait to see your journey with your wicked editing & stunning drone views. I had a lot of fun watching it. Just be careful, you're getting closer to a place where you can no longer get better :) I got to experience a bit of mud riding with the 701 and even though I didn't fall I hated every moment. I prefer water crossing at any given moment. great video! totally 10.

Hey Dror, thanks for your comment. I can always improve and get better :-), Yeah riding mud is kinda crazy... often it is not much fun at the time, but put's a smile on your face as you recount it afterwards with your friends. Water crossings are fun as long as you don't drown your bike (I've drowned mine once).... If you are doing water crossings, make sure you buy the special spark plug removal tool and keep it on your bike... otherwise there is no way to get the spark plugs out and de-drown it.

Hands down, considering your resources, that would be one of the best put together vids I've seen. That was a class act Brent. I guessed you were using a Skydio for I know of no other drone small enough capable. Man how it changes the dynamics of your video. I wonder how much combined effort your fellow riders gave you so you didn't fall behind while operating gopro's and changing batterises etc. I could see you busily checking your controller, you did well. Obviously it was to their benefits to cooperate with you and be part of the end result. I have been communicating with Sphere in Sydney re how to obtain a +2 Skydio and talks are ongoing. Would love to know how you acquired it. Have you made other videos? Subscribed
@brentbat2 жыл бұрын
Hey Kiwi Adventurer. First of all, I purchased the drone in Texas (where I spend half my time for business). Yes, I've been using the Skydio for quite some time now and you'll see it playing a part in many of my adventure videos. There is no other drone that comes close for capturing adventure bike riding. When I'm riding with buddies, I am careful not to disrupt the ride too much. On this ride I think I stopped 3 times over the two days to fly the drone. Once it is up, I usually just let it follow us for about 20min and get tons of footage with each flight. I can launch and retrieve it pretty quickly now. Same with the GoPro, I usually cycle batteries whenever we stop so that I have fresh batteries in the gopro all the time. BP
