@@level442FM Yeah, young Mikkel's an absolute star in the making and will be attracting the attention of bigger clubs, unfortunately. On the plus side though, he seems very happy at Brentford and is progressing so well - leading quietly and confidently. I'd agree with the Eriksen similarities in terms of vision, football intelligence, forward thinking and quality of pass etc, but I'd argue that his defensive / breaking down of play is much stronger. We've bagged an absolute cracker in Damsgaard, that's for sure, and long may he boss our midfield. Would love to see him score more goals, but that will come...

I saw Kevin's development over here in Germany. He really came good at Freiburg and that is why Brentford paid a lot of money for him. Once at Brentford he had his injury problems and that really set him back a lot. After a long rehabilitation he started to get more game time for the Bees, but was constantly missing that spark that he had had at Freiburg. Now, after earning the trust of Thomas Frank he is starting to look like the player that Brentford saw when he was at Freiburg and let us hope that this positive development and increased confidence continues for the sake of Kevin and, of course, for the sake of the Bees. Currently sitting nicely on 20 points and well on their way to my initial target for them of 40 points. Once we get there the rest will be a bonus and who knows where that might take us.
