For true Chicagoan and acclaimed producer BrentRambo, it's all about keeping things "unorthodox." Although he’s landed placements with new wave icons like Autumn! and Summrs, Rambo is mainly known to be the right hand of fellow Chicago stars LUCKI and Warhol.SS -- crafting sensationally raw beats that add to their "king-like" underground prowess in Chi-Town. "The way I see my sound and the way I make my beats, it’s never just one type of way," he said. "Whenever I open FL, I just do whatever and go with the flow. People say that I have a sound, but I really just do me." First gaining traction by way of placements with Lil Yachty, Famous Dex and Warhol, the bond LUCKI and Rambo share is seemingly unbreakable. "He keeps evolving," he said of LUCKI. "His flows go so crazy now. He lets me do what I do, he lets me be a real ass producer. [He] turned my sh*t up, in terms of my work ethic.” Speaking on the music he and LUCKI are prepping to unlock from the vault, OGM host Hakeem Rowe linked up with Rambo to discuss Chicago's dense talent pool, having immigrant parents, BrentRambo type beats, Brent's first LUCKI concert, upcoming music, his new drum kit, dream collaborations and much more in our latest OGM interview!
