Never thought I'd hear Bret Easton Ellis say "Patrick Bateman Sigma Male", hilarious. Great interview man, you ask great questions and don't cut him off.

Bra forberedt. I forhold til gjesten.. Wolfie er dårligere på å intervjue de mer politiske gjestene.

I am so surprised at how candidly he explains about his past life, and just his overall pragmatism! American press must be really bad these days when he completely prioritizes Europe instead.

That is a mild way to say it. America is run by extremists and gangsters. And has been since the death of JFK, but largely also between Lincoln was killed to before JFK presidency started. All is relative. Many other countries are far worse like Russia, Iran and Saudi arabia

The thing about Bret is that the longer he talks and the more comfortable he gets, the more he embellishes and lies. Good natured lying though, nothing sinister

I’m in the middle of reading his “White”. After watching this video, I’m sure not to return to it. I found it skimmable at first, but now hearing his whiney tone won’t leave my head. He’s another sad case of a person met with early success who believes his vision is supreme. Boring.

Great, really fucking great. And relieving somehow, because American Psycho is probably the funniest book I've ever read. I laughed my ass off too. Great writer. The Shards is an astonishing novel, I was on a self observing level fascinated by my fascination while I read it, the whole time. So intense, an immersive experience just by reading. One of the greatest novelists of our time. I have not a single doubt about that. Thank you for the interview.

Press will still sell books. I’m a big fan of BEE’s work, but honestly I had no idea he had even written a new book until I heard Luca Guadagnino is directing a HBO adaptation on it. If BEE had been on Joe Rogan or whatever, I would have been a day 1 buyer.

the conversation with Tarantino is interesting, they both went back to their childhoods with mroe recent work. I also believe American Psycho and Reservoir Dogs are both movies that answered the call of counter culture at the end of the 80's, anyone agree?
