I met Bret yesterday. Such a nice guy. He's absolutely correct; a bad signature is worthless. Bret always took pride in everything, and he still does. He takes pride in his own pristine signature. He takes pride in the beauty behind the old belt designs. If you love your business, it shows; others will love it, too.

Bret hart is an absolute legend! I have met him twice in the uk. He was an absolute gentleman and genuinely down to earth human. If you meet him snd talk with you will realise he is not a grump bitter man by far!! He truly gives you his time and attention.breatbhart you are the best.

When high school and college demanded everything be typed is when the art of penmanship seriously declined. Alos, Bret is close to an artist almost as good as Jerry Lawler. Of course artist have cool signatures, and some people can just really write well.

These interviewers and old wrestling fans sound so damn bitter all of the time. About EVERYTHING that is different with wrestling. People are complaining about autographs now too. Most wrestling fans will never even get an autograph from their favorite wrestler. If you dont like someones autograph its really simple, dont get their autograph. Its really not that big of a deal. Ppl just whine. As if none of the wrestlers back in the day had bad autographs. I could argue that writing in general isnt really done at all unless youre in school. I could also argue that practicing your autograph is actually the ego driven thing to do if your not even famous. Just assuming youre going to be famous. Also some people just dont have good penmanship. its really not that big of a deal at all. I dont blame Bret at all either because he was just being honest about the question that he was asked. Its not like he just brought it up outta the blue.

Lou Abano had a very bad signature as well as Bruno Sammartino. I once got an autograph from Bruno and I asked him what does it say and he got a little standoffish and said it's written in English it says good luck always from Bruno sammartino. I know Fred Blassie had a great signature as well as Jerry Lawler
