Hearing Princess's letter to Bret makes me really curious about her ability to make lyrics. She's really good with words and pulling on your heartstrings! When she talks emotionally I find myself feeling her so deeply. That letter made me cry. I can't wait to hear what she has in store with her singing career. If she's nervous about singing; songwriting is another thing. I see the potential in her ability to move others with her words.

I’m so glad the lines of communication are slowly opening up. Bretman has high expectations for his sister and then he gets disappointed when she doesn’t meet those expectations. She’s not him. I do think she needs to find her own passion, but I know it’s hard to chase dreams while raising young children. If Bretman and Princess could let go of their expectations for each other and, instead, love each other as they are, it would help a lot.

I can sympathize with Princess though because growing up without support and that rooted motivation to pursue something for yourself is hard. Nobody talks about how hard it is to feel motivated to do the things you want to do especially if you feel so mentally and emotionally held back/drained. Having to wake up and choose yourself and your passions when you don't feel motivated or feel supported the ways you need to be, or having the right help to get you where you wanna be, is hard and overwhelming. So I can relate in that way, because personally when I'm excited about something and I share it with someone, ill find myself looking for validation like "Am I doing the right thing", and that tough love doesn't help, I need close support and help with keeping that inspiration and motivation and that second opinion; its easy to feel stuck and start avoiding things when you don't have the right support from others or the motivation and security from within.

also people who have come from abusive/narcissistic relationships need constant reassurance of love as it helps to rebuild trust when it comes to emotional support because they’ve been emotionally deprived & abused. I know it does get draining sometimes as the person on the other end but ppl need to be abit more compassionate coz when it happens to you. Trust you will be searching for some empathy & compassion from someone. Some ppl are just better at masking it or avoiding it bt others wear they’re hearts on their sleeves & ain’t nothing wrong with it. I understand Princess I was her & still am at times. Have 2 kids frm young age, abusive relationships, big family bt u feel emotionally alone & misunderstood or called out for being emotional aware coz others are closed off. If you can’t even complete things for yourself, no one will give you the approval you seek. I don’t believe Bretman is trying to force anything on her, I just think he wants her to see she can actually accomplish things and not leave stuff half finished. There’s nothing worse than quitting on yourself. It’s just interesting to see she’s been going to therapy and she has yet to have been told she needs to work on herself and start accomplishing tasks- no matter how small they may be.

I think one thing Princess simply wants at the end of the day is for Bretman to be more nice to her, present, and understanding. Then one thing Bretman wants is for her to make something of herself and not just constantly want a handout. He wants her to understand the pressures of his work ethic, understand his struggle with unsettled trauma he has of his own, and that being the reason why he needs some time to himself to take a break and work on his self.

I understand where you’re coming from and I can definitely see that he has for sure gotten comfortable taking it out on her . But I would never blame my disrespectfulness towards others on trauma . Trauma to me , teaches me that there’s so much more then being sad and miserable in life . Trauma reminds me that I’ve gotten through the worst days of my life alone and made it through . Trauma to me reminds me that everyone in their world have something going on . That’s why you treat everyone with respect . I feel like it’s almost starting to bother me that everyone is using that as an excuse or even bret himself . Trauma dosent make you spas out on people , call them names . Or make them feel uncomfortable in any way possible . Personally me , I’ve been put in uncomfortable situations my whole life so when I see someone feeling that way I go out of my way to make sure they feel fine , to make sure they can take good deep breaths with out wondering if the other person is judging because “they’re breathing to hard” . I think fame is definitely starting to take over bret . Before all of these people it was just him and his sister . And I see how hes actually opened up about that to the therapist and that’s good. It’s one thing to realize what you have been doing wrong , and who you’ve been shutting out . but I don’t think it’s something that has completely hit him yet . I feel like he dosent understand princess because he dosent have kids . He can receive a call and throw on a photoshoot out fit and go . She can’t . He expects so much more from her but that’s so hard coming from someone so young with kids .

Yeah tbh, it’s hard to watch. I get she’s not worked as hard as he’d prefer but he seems to have a distinct lack of compassion and empathy for her, it’s great he admits that, but truly it seems to be the main thing that makes their relationship so icky. I’m not a fan of his behaviour towards his sister at all. She seems so so vulnerable and sensitive and sweet, she’s just a baby who had her youth taken away through getting pregnant, I love him individually but I wish he was more gentle with her. It’s past tough love at this point.

And this is a huge step in HEALING and just creating a more healthy relationship with your loved ones. They all mean well, but have their own personal struggles and traumas that they have to confront. Sometimes they project a lot of their anger/frustrations towards each other and that is not healthy. Which is why them going to therapy as well as spending time apart is a good way in finding themselves. Also, kudos to the therapist and the medium for telling Bretman to write down his true/genuine feelings in a journal. Those are the best ways to really confront what you’re hiding deep down. Sometimes it’s not easy to truly look at yourself and be HONEST.. you always want to put up a strong front. But sometimes you just have to let down your walls and cry or get angry. I feel for princess cause me and my sister are the same way. My sister went through more than I did, she saw more when it came to my parents fighting but sometimes it’s better to stay away even if it hurts. I pray for them to both find some peace and drey is such an amazing friend I love how she gives princess the support she wants!
