near 500 fps is pretty good for a little daisy pistol! , that like 8 pumps for a crosman 760 with bb s Like a red ryder or daisy bucks is half that speed. But I love all bb gubs and guns in general

Yes it is it saved my life already when someone tried robing me whit a knife. Its definitely strong enough to penetrate trew some skin and if you shoot some one in the eye or private parts. There done

I do have the 426 daisy power line. I want to get a daisy blowback bb gun . And would like to get a blowback 177 pellet daisy pistol.

@@BretsCrappyShots i have got to get 415 . I do like daisy products. I'm saving up the money to get the daisy break barrel pellet rifle . Walmart has it for 63.00 .can not remember the model but it is real nice . I will fine what model it is and send it to you .

YES you have to use silicone or Pellgun oil on EVERY CO2 cart. That is the maintenance for the SEALS. Try the black BBs for best performance. Nice vid GREAT FUN GUN for 30 bucks.

another tip bro ,get you your favorite spray paint and spray your bb's ,it makes them a slight bigger so they seal in barrel better,they create more fps and shoot more accurately, to get bb from .172 to .177 i spray them many times rolling them when dried to spray all around , plus i feel the paint adds a protective coating on them so its less damaging to rifled barrels ! lead bb-s are way more expensive but shoot the best i think in all barrels because they are about .177 , they claim that bb sizes in shot gun shells are around .180 diameter ,that would make real good balls to shoot from .177 pellet rifles ! wow !!!

if you drill slightly two holes where paint goes for white dots , it holds them better ,and if you drill them all the way , you can add some short piece of fiber optics rods that you lightly super glue in ! is the pistol is worth it , you put a LED BULB on front sight and two on back sight , run wires to small battery and you got awesome day and really awesome night sites !

LOL i agree with the slight drilling to make for a better paint dot. But I wouldn't waste my time with the other two options lol at least not with either of these guns.

Do you have to take the co2 out when your done shooting the gun

I would recommend that you do because over time that co2 will leak out and it will also help the seal retain its shape also make sure you use Pell gun oil every 3rd co2.

Whats your point of view of having one of these for self defense..i own both myself but seems the 415 travels at a higher fps does that mean it would do more damage?? but the cr357 does hold pellets..i have the crossman destroyer pellets my concern is will it do more damage even though it travels at a less fps??

Honestly I dont feel either would be good for self defense because if I want to defend myself I want my attacker stone cold dead with one shot. These cant do that it would take multiple shots and or exact perfect placement which in a life or death scenario is almost impossible to pull off unless you are highly trained and can control your adrenaline... but if you must have one or the other by the bed maybe to use as a deterrent then for sure the cr357.
