I can’t tag/reply directly to replies but CG87343, liking comments is a strong indicator that one agrees with said comments. Idk why you’d think otherwise. I don’t do IG so idk if there’s a dislike option on IG but if she didn’t agree with the comments, she’d either dislike the comments or NOT like them. Again, idk why you’d think otherwise but my first guess would be you’re extremely biased in favor of the Daily Wire and running cover for them and my second guess would be you’re not very bright.

@@realolivertwisted My mom liked stupid stuff all the time. She liked stuff I didn't agree with, either. Moms are weird; you have one, right? Her three-year contract was up. She's recently a Mom. She was not removed from the roles in movies she was cast in at DW. Her BEST FRIEND who talked about having babies with her all the time is taking over the show. You have no basis whatsoever to imply she's being forced out.

Ultimately I believe this was about money. She probably asked for a certain amount because she gets way more views than anyone else on that network and the CEO most likely refused and so she left. Looks like The Daily Wire owns the comments section channel so Brett is likely gonna have to start a brand new channel. I understand Candace Owens but letting Brett walk is insane to me

On their website, going back as far as last year Brett is #5. So she is not the breadwinner. KZbin is nothing to them as they base their income off of subs from DW itself. She was really only the trophy girl of the DW that offered nothing extra to the company besides a,"We have a woman" hire.

I agree. The other possibility is that they pushed her to put some of her content behind their paywall. I remember during the whole Stephen Crowder controversy, she put out a video on Instagram sharing her thoughts. She said that one of the things she pushed for in her initial contract was to have all her content on KZbin and not behind a pay wall. It could be they were no longer OK with that because they wanted more DailyWire+ subscriptions.

Candace Owens had to forfeit her YT channel , daily wire will keep Brett’s channel and make an edit to the name taking Brett’s name off! it will be just“comments section” and they will lose thousands if not millions of subscribers, and I’m sure Brett signed a lengthy NDA, Candace couldn’t even speak on what happened or her personal experience. The daily wire took a hit by firing Candace , and now losing Brett is their 2nd biggest mistake this year!

Amen. At this point, Dr. Peterson is the only reason I still watch anything on DW. If he goes, so do I. I already unsubscribed from The Comments Section with Brett Cooper. Matt Walsh has ALWAYS rubbed me the wrong way, and I think Michael Knowles is... ok, I guess? And I haven't liked Ben ever since he thought we should forfeit to Hillary and get someone "better than Trump." If we had Hillary, I'm convinced we never would have won another conservative election ever.

I love Candace, but let's be real, Brett is their 1st biggest mistake. Her numbers and attractions are massive. Candace is also arguably more controversial where-as I've known some politically left people who agree with most of what Brett had to say. She was pretty, very common sensical, eccentric, quick with research and spoke very cohesively and articulated her common sense well. But above all really is just that X factor, which is essentially just the "liking" many viewers have taken to her. It doesn't matter if someone even prettier and more well spoken comes along, they'll still be a different person and it won't feel right. It's like anyone else from The Office playing Michael Scott, or replacing the person you're in love with with someone else who is conventionally prettier, funnier etc. it won't work because it's already too late, you already really like that 1 person...

The show was build by Daily wire , Brett did not create it , she was hired to be the face of it. But still for a lot of us , she was the show.

no she had to audition and they make also a pilot before she finally get taken for the show. I do not remembered if it was actually Reagan that was also auditioning or someone else , but they advice that they wanted real talent. you can watch Brett Reacts To The UNRELEASED Pilot of The Comments -and react to her audition. Yes she did participate to give ideas after that , I have no doubt , but they hired her first.

Yeah it's sounds weird :/ If this was a news segment in a network, then sure, it wouldn't be so important for her to leave because what would matter was the journalist work backstage to gather and write the news... But this is content creation, it's about the creator and the personality onscreen, so of course she's going to take her audience with her... What's even the point of keeping the channel active without her? :/

Didn't they have a fallout with Steven Crowder regarding the way the Daily Wire wanted to set up the contract where Crowder had 50mil (I think) for 3-5 years where he had to pay out of for all the expenses

The Comments Section is owned by The Daily Wire, ergo it is property of DW. When Brett Cooper leaves the channel remains. As for why she is leaving, all I’m hearing are rumors. The idea that she was “forced out” does not have any substance. In fact, the source that she was forced out is basically “trust me bro”. If Brett says she wasn’t forced out I’m taking her at her word; and until I see hard evidence saying otherwise, speculation is kind of worthless.

I followed DW before Brett because it is a good conservative channel. I followed DW with Brett and thought that she was an excellent and talented hire. And I will follow DW without Brett like the majority of DW followers. I might add Brett's channel if she creates one because she's talented but we'll see what she wants to do next.

The Daily Wire was good at the time as the only source of conservative media that brought a level of professionalism. Now its not nearly as popular even with Michael Knowles being my favorite to watch react and Matt Walsh making some good documentaries like What is a Woman and Am I Racist. All their other things havent done well and have become too preachy. Candace Owens is still doing a good job speaking to people and exposing the left but Brett Cooper brought over a bunch of young people with her editing style and gen Z humor. At this rate, The Daily Wire will be outdone by other content creators and maybe its for the best considering their business practices and many of them not understanding theyre being too preachy and are pushing people away.
