It’s funny how so much can happen in a yr. Apparently I watched this a yr ago and relistening to the lyrics and wow.Brett this song is beautiful it’s not just cute it is purely raw, full of deep emotion and such meaning. May have to listen to this again. All I want to do right now is think about good memories with my friend because sometimes life is too short for some and for that we must always carry the love and a piece of their spirit in our hearts.

This song is amazing and means a lot to me.. words in tune speak to people very different pending the person... I just wanted to say thank you for writing this song... I`m only 25 but I have been through more than most... I`m a U.S Marine, a combat veteran, a friend of fallen friends, a reborn christian, and a father of a beautiful son.. just wanted to say thank you! No matter the change, no matter the cost, all the feelings i have felt in the past are a constant reminder that these memories are real.. as you put it they cover me like shade.. thank you very much.. hope to here it on itunes soon!!

I love this song it reminds me so much of Paso deVidas Life steps she was my favorite she was a blind director of a woman's recovery program and normal she can drink like a normal person had class and she was number one in my book she brought me a lot of inspiration and a lot of hard on living knowledge with food for thought morning journaling was the first thing we did.

great song!!! wow,...Im in the military and I left home at 17 and only see my hometown maybe 2 weeks a year....and this song reminds me of my birth place.......I have seen 17 countries and 3/4th the USA from my military travels....but, I will always miss home and they cover me like shades...........Great song..
