even as an Englishman Lee was a player i loved. that 05 series was so good for so many reasons, played in a great spirit, 2 top class sides playing entertaining cricket, the standard was incredible (that Ponting innings at Old Trafford is the best I've ever seen live) great crowds and best of all everyone in England was hooked. i was in my last year of school and for the first time in my life, everyone was into cricket rather than football. people were absolutely hooked by it. had mad respect for that Australia team, as for England there's just a bit of sadness that team never played together again. but yeah, Brett Lee - Cool dude

Australian pitches suit him much better. I’m from Perth and was there when he hit Alex Tudor. From side on in Perth he looked lightning fast.

Best very fast bowler, but a number of pace bowlers better than him, McGrath is probably best of all, Lillee, Hadlee, Akram, Waqar are a few more names right up there.

I was at the 2003 world cup game in South Africa between Aus and Sri Lanka in Centurion. Brett was bowling like absolute lightning, was the most thrilling spell I’d ever watched live. So exciting. Aravinda de Silva batted superbly, should’ve got a hundred. Great times

Love what Brett has to say about pain and fast bowling. If you can only bowl when your body is 100% then you aren’t going to make it as a quick. Shield fixtures are 4-days, you will be sore and still have to bowl long spells. It’s not enough to be a good athlete, you have to have to be a little bit crazy to be a fast bowler.

Self obsession at its peak ..Is Lee Indian? he talked about India barely for 6-7 minutes... Indian loves lee that doesn't mean he was in the podcast to attract Indian views .. Don't get too proud on overpopulation dude

@Religion_is_business there's something called "sarcasm" but I guess it hit you at the wrong spot.now you pissed me off so what is the minimum criteria as to acknowledge if country is over or under populated. And by the way we have the ancestral roots of this Land. we are not some bunch of criminals illegally occupying the Land .I hope you'll be respectful next time.
