Birdman......you know enough about Country music ballads to know that you have to wait on the end more times than not so you don't get the rug pulled out from under your feet. He is a great artist and I love the tone of his voice!

I understood what happened in “Don’t want to write this song” by the first chorus. But I lived through the death of the father of my kids while we were young so my mind went there quickly. I think it was suppose to be a twist though. Great reaction 💗

THE first song outside the audio issue there the reaction was absoutly perfect like legit break up song turned into a song of lose with the third chors and lady is just another flawless performance well written songs by both songwriters and brett and no over production makes the songs 100times better

Both great songs. The first I don't wanna write this song I had a feeling she had passed when he said about the dress in closet still but wasn't til he said about the headstone that I was sure about it. Lady I love he did this for his wife and daughter.

In regards to "I Dont Want to Write This Song" almost every word especially that first verse reminds me of my dad after my mom passed 6 years ago.

“Don’t Wanna Write this Song” makes me think of my dad after suddenly losing my mom. They were married 32 yrs. Anyway, the Luke Bryan song you were referencing is called “Roller Coaster”. Appreciate the work man! Keep going!!

Drink a Beer was actually written by Chris Stapleton though. Don’t get me wrong he preforms some good story songs but Luke isn’t a writer. He just sings them.
