I’ve done this upgrade myself on my X1 2019 base model. I don’t hate it but I also don’t really love it. It looks OEM but the software is kind of junky unfortunately.

We did this to my aunts BMW 3 series and upgraded the screen and then the hvac had some issues few months down the lime and we took it to the dealer since it was under warranty and they noticed the screen was upgraded and said the screen is tampered and refused to work on it and honor the warranty 🙄

use RealOEM to find which part numbers are compatible with your car because the voltages are different depending on LCI and pre LCI

All I’ve done is changed the screen size, similar to a PC screen. You wouldn’t need to change your keyboard if you got a bigger pc monitor would you. Hope that makes sense mate 😃
