I've watched most of these, and my biggest two takeways: 1) how obvious it is that Brett enjoys playing, and 2) how well-done the arrangements are. Sure, you can take the orchestral score and implode it onto two staves, and end up with something physically unplayable by anything but MIDI that sounds like a muddy, undifferentiated wall-of-sound... but Brett's arrangements are done with a sensitivity and nuance that are just artful. Now... do "Parade of the Slave Children" from Temple of Doom, or "The Asteroid Field" from The Empire Strikes Back. Might need four hands ... !

I can't tell you how much your lovely comment means to me, Adam. It's a fine line to walk between being faithful to the original orchestral scores and making something that actually works on the piano, and I walk it with every arrangement I make. Your noticing the care I put into each of them means more than I can say, and I appreciate you taking the time to tell me so! As for 'Slave Children' and 'Asteroid Field,' you're right: I'd need *at least* four hands to them justice, but they're both on my list...!
