@@glow4417 OBJ lost the Rams their last game by freestyling or running the wrong route 3 times in a row. That was literally the major problem with him. Mayfield playing without one of his shoulders and with several other compounding injuries has jack shit to do with OBJs timing problems. He never said Mayfield was the second coming of jesus christ; he simply pointed out, accurately, OBJ was and continues to be, a problem when it comes to offensive timing.

I think the fact that he can do everything at a high level makes him DPOY imo. He’s the only athlete in the NFL that has 200+ snaps as a pass rusher and 200+ snaps in coverage if you give him 400+ snaps as a pass rusher he’d without a doubt have 16+ sacks by now. He’s just the most well rounded defender in the league. The cowboys drafted a DE, LB and DB if they need him to cover slots, RBs and TEs

@@n.willy4864 well that’s why I said in case they need him to cover a slot, RB or TEs. Look up the stats I think he’s had 40+ snaps as a nickel corner. He’s obviously not used as a DB but he’s lined up as one more then plenty when they needed him to and he has 2 pass break ups that led to INTs down the field. Go look at the play he made V the saints 30 yds down the field he looked like a DB breaking up a pass and the deflection led to an INT.

There's more ways to blow up a pass play than 'just' good coverage - being exactly where they never expect you sure as hell works too. If Golladay knew, he could've gotten the PI - and, yet, if Parsons knew it was going to be a pick, he could've covered Golladay better. The "what if" goes both ways. Nothing "lucky" about that.

I think these breakdowns of players or plays are what Brett excels at. (In fact, what I like the very most are play breakdowns that train me to identify them in real time.) Sometimes he likes to do predictions, playbook dives or long discussions... If he wants to, okay, but I hope he never gets too far away from the format that made him big. [You can see a ton of work goes into this 20-minute format, but for the audience, the result is perfect.]

...Some people are big picture experts, and others excel at details. I think a risk lies in expecting deeper and deeper details to add up to a better big picture. As I very successful gambler, I believe that's not how it works. I find a mid-level depth of focus to be the most productive in terms of time and attention. What I (and many) appreciate is a level of focus deeper than what fits into a game broadcast, but not so involved as to lose sight of the big picture, or make my leisure feel like work.

As a Giants fan it's very upsetting to me that Parsons is everything a lot of people thought he would be. I understand him having to live with constant comparisons to LT if we drafted him but it seems that was something he was prepared to deal with both in his on field performance and personality. I believe Toney could be a very impactful offensive weapon but having a talent like Parsons on defense is game changing.

As a Packers fan, I'm terrified of the Cowboys coming into Lambeau and absolutely CRUSHING us in the NFC Champion game. 😬

As a cowboys fan I am cautiously optimistic about facing the Packers. I respect the Packers and hate them at the same time for what yall did to Romo. I love the team we have and nothing would make me happier than finally getting over the hump of underachieving. I do not care about the NFC East division title, I want the whole thing.

@@BrettKollmann Just wanted to say, you can be arrogant on here Brett. You singled out people (including videos of them in your videos), criticizing Mayfield for not making it work with OBJ. Now, it's time for you to eat some sh*t, on why you were wrong. You were wrong. Mayfield was the main reason reason it didn't work with OBJ. I love your channel, but your arrogance to criticize others, is why sometimes you look like a complete jacka$$. Hope you improve in the future.

Love the videos! This guy is a beast. I was hoping early on that my Falcons picked him up. Not sure if you take video requests, or if this would even be a good place to make such a request, but I'd love to see an AJ Terrell video. You mentioned him at the end, and as a Falcons fan, it'd be cool to hear something actually positive about my team haha. Regardless, keep the awesome content coming!

Here in Italy we keep Christmas decorations on until the 6th of January so, from my point of view, there's no shame in that Brett, it would be sad to take 'em down already the day after Christmas😅

He’s really a special Athlete I remember when you were talking about him pre draft and I didn’t even see this! I thought we were gonna get surtain who’s we I think the whole fan base wanted to sure the defense up but man when we got parsons I was surprised he was still there that late.

To be fair, surtain is a star as well so you would of had that locked down. Having Parsons worked out better because hes unstoppable at mutiple positions

Hey Brett, Jamin Davis says hello.. And Zaven Collins, and Cam Mcgrone. Lol. We all miss, but I will never understand how you watch Parsons, just his movement and violence alone and talk about his mental processing on a position he's just learned. He was dominant at 19 years old. Usually works out. Good call on J.O.K tho. He's been excellent as well

Sometimes really raw players get to the league and just take huge leaps like Parsons, and sometimes raw players end up being very inconsistent like Tremaine Edmunds. It’s tough to know which one you’re gonna get once they are in the league when evaluation is all about upside.

There are very few linebackers that have real sideline to sideline speed. Combine that with good pash rushing ability and you have a matchup nightmare. He will have a great career. Will be interesting to see what role he settles into as a veteran when he loses a step or two.

I just want to take a minute to acknowledge Brett's attention to details. Putting in the context of Parsons vs. the Giants being in a 20-44 game.... shows that in that particular instance, Parsons may have been benefitting from playing a weak team in a tough spot.
