The Breville Bambino Plus is ideal for beginners due to its user-friendly design and features:
1) Automatic Operation: It simplifies the espresso-making process with one-touch buttons for single and double shots, making it easy for beginners to get consistent results.
2) Automatic Milk Frothing: The steam wand's automatic frothing feature helps beginners achieve a creamy microfoam without much manual effort, perfect for lattes and cappuccinos.
3) Quick Heat-up Time: With a 3-second heat-up time, it reduces waiting, allowing beginners to enjoy their coffee quickly.
4) Pre-Infusion: The machine has a pre-infusion feature, which wets the coffee grounds before extraction, enhancing flavor extraction and making it forgiving for slight variations in tamping.
5) Compact Size: Its smaller footprint is suitable for those with limited counter space, making it practical for beginners without overwhelming them with a complex setup.
6) Easy Maintenance: The Bambino Plus is designed for easy cleaning, with removable parts and automatic purging after steaming milk, reducing the learning curve for maintenance.
Overall, these features make the Breville Bambino Plus a user-friendly and forgiving choice for those new to home espresso-making.

Thank you soooooo much for this video. It is a jungle out there in products and using them is so intimidating. I am going to buy this machine and wanted more knowledge on how to use it before I made the commitment. Also, if you were to use a single wall basket, would you have to manually program your espresso shot every time or can you let the machine do that instead of having to program?

@@LeslieDeemer-h1w If you will notice, I run a blank shot and don't remove the portafilter while I'm grinding my beans. That will keep the grouphead, the portafilter and your cup hot. That's the proper warming up. Most of the first time users missed this important step.

Hi thank you for this video! Do you warm up with the machine and rinse the portafilter every time you make a cup of coffee?
@HomeBaristaCorner
@HomeBaristaCorner 6 ай бұрын
Bambino Plus doesn't warm up the portafilter after turning on the machine (unlike other models) so that's why I run a blank shot. Hot portafilter will help to stabilize the water brewing temperature to extract the coffee better, better tasting espresso. Running a blank shot to rinse the portafilter to make it hot again on next shot.

Since you grinded your own coffe at a right ground size , you should be usung a non-pressurised basket . Am I correct?

I started my coffee journey with pressurized basket and move on to single wall basket. This video is for beginners who will use the machine for the first time. Pressurized basket is not too sensitive to grind size, but still ideal grind size need to set to make it closer when using the single wall. There's a part 2 soon, advanced tutorial. This time for single wall basket and all manual method.

@HomeBaristaCorner

I choose Niche Zero because of ease of use for this case. This coffee bar is being used by family/guests and are new to espresso. My recommendation for grinder is the coffee grounds it produce are fluffy and burrs are upgradable like the DF64* grinders.

Why not use tap to wash the porta?
@HomeBaristaCorner
@HomeBaristaCorner 3 ай бұрын
You can wash the portafilter using tap water after brewing but in case you will need to pull another shot, you will loose the heat of portafilter from tap water. When brewing, portafilter should be hot to enough to keep the brewing temperature stable. Lower temperature will result to sour espresso.
