I just received mine yesterday but haven't tried it out yet. But I think i would preheat the pizza pan with the oven until really hot, and either brush some olive oil on the bottom of the crust or on the hot pan itself before putting the pizza on it, if you like a crispier crust.

Thank you for the review, could you clarify the Smart Cooking Functions are a little confusing. What is a difference between Roast and Bake functions? If temperature and time settings are adjustable in both, is there a difference in how the heat elements work?

It automatically changes which and when certain heating elements are activated. For example, bake ends with the top elements being heated to give your baked item a nice crust

Thank you for the review. I do have one question? I noticed the cheese wasn’t melted on your pizza. My main oven is a convection type made by LG. Believe it or not, it doesn’t have burners at the bottom. It uses the top broiler burners and the convection fan swirls the heat. Had I known it didn’t have burners on the bottom, I would have never bought it. The pizza cooks on top, but the bottom is never cooked, or even close to browning. And I like my pizza well done. That means a crispy bottom. I even use a pizza stone, yet it still doesn’t help the bottom brown. Does this toaster oven brown the bottom? I won’t buy if I can’t get a completely cooked pizza accomplished with it. Thanx in advance to your response ☺️

James, I had the same issue even with a pizza stone. I ended up buying a pizza steel and preheating it for 20-25 minutes and now I get a prefect crust on the bottom and keep my stone for when I do pizza in the grill. PS if you use the steel in the grill expect the bottom of your pizza to burn right away 😞

Hey General Expert here's are a couple pro-tips... #1 1st thing you should mention is the model# of the product you are un-boxing? #2 What are the dimensions as it sits on the countertop? You just made a 4:05 video and didn't mention either of those 'critical' pieces of information - That would be a FAIL. ~ By hey, keep trying you'll get it eventually... maybe...

I see many people think that this is also a AIR FRYER?NOPE its not, it does have a fan but not a air fryer.If you want the one with the Air Fryer you will need the Breville 900....

Sage Smart Oven Pro - not stainless steel interior at this price ? The customers must be total idiots. The zinc plated parts rust and die, all guards on heating elements are zinc plated, hello?
